September 2 – Food Log September 2, 2008

0-6 (8:45a)
Eggs, bacon, banana pancake w/syrup, OJ, coffee w/creamer & Splenda
Breakfast w/my boys. Used a small plate. Didn’t finish my eggs, OJ, nor pancake because I wanted to drink all of my coffee.

0-5 (12:45p)
Yet another fresh tomato sandwich, 2 oreos, choc covered cherry; wild cherry diet pepsi
I know I will burn out on these tomato sandwiches eventually, but right now, they’re sure a super pleaser!!

0-4 (3:40p)
Couple handfulls of trail mix; 1 mini-Babybel semisoft Cheese
Got hungry. Had a snack. I don’t know why this has to be so complicated. I just want to do it “perfectly” and make sure my timing is right so I can eat with my family. However, life isn’t perfect and sometimes I will have to say no to eating when I’m not hungry. In super important situations I can bypass hunger to have a meal with others, but I need to not be afraid to just be on my own schedule for a little while until I get this a little more figured out. I’ve been ignoring my “numbers” for so long that it will take me a bit to respond to them accordingly.

Leftover Chicken Portabello from Macaroni Grill
I wasn’t positive about the hunger signals, so I am leaving this at a “1″ for a starting point, though it could have been close to a 0. It wasn’t a full out “0″ like earlier today. I suppose I could have waited until much later to eat, but J4 is out with a friend and it was time for J5 to eat. Just chose to eat this small serving with him so we were having a meal together. Not a great rationale, but it is what it is.
